Wendy Braybon, head physiotherapist at the Victorian Institute of Sport, shows us how to classify and manage soft tissue injuries (such as sprains, skin abrasions, lacerations, and blisters) and hard tissue injuries (fractures and dislocations). We learn to apply the RICER technique for managing soft tissue injuries and the TOTAPS and DRABC techniques for assessing and managing hard tissue injuries.
